Documentation Of Weideman Peformance On MIEDC

Earlier, I mentioned that Sharon Weideman was a paid employee of the Melissa Industrial Economic Development Board but did not perform the functions of the job. Ms Weideman was paid $18,000/year for a 20 hour per week position. One of Ms. Weideman’s duties for the MIEDC was to pick up the mail at the post office.

I had mentioned the Post office had put a notice on the door of the MIEDC office warning that the post office box would be canceled if the bill was not paid. The note was put on the door on a Friday and on the following Wednesday a city employee picked up the note. The city employee finding the note was not Sharon Weideman. A city employee went to the Post Office to find that the Post Office box had been canceled and that all the mail had been returned to sender.

Many have asked me if this is a rumor or if it is a fact. I have attached below documentation that clearly this did happen. This documentation is in the city archives and in the public domain. Weideman was removed from her position on MIEDC in 2009.
